Composite Tooth Colored Fillings
A composite filling is a tooth colored plastic and glass mixture. We use this material to restore decayed teeth. Composites can also be used to improve the aesthetics of a smile by changing the color of the teeth or reshaping a broken, chipped, or worn down tooth. Composites are chemically bonded to your teeth and are very strong. Unlike a metal filling which contracts and expands over time and can lead to bacterial leakage, a composite filling will last a long time and be almost undetectable to the natural eye.
